Drink Your Vitamins with VitaCup Coffee & Tea

We all know the importance of incorporating essential vitamins and minerals into our daily routine in order to stay healthy and avoid vitamin deficiencies. In addition to eating nutritious foods, taking supplements can ensure that we are meeting the recommended daily value of certain nutrients. But let’s face it, everyone is busy. We’re often going in a million different directions, and sometimes we just may forget to take our vitamins as we’re rushing out the door. I know I am guilty of this, so when I heard about a new line of vitamin infused coffee and tea products called VitaCup, I was really excited to try it!

VitaCup has created convenient single-serve K-Cups that are packed with the essential vitamins and energizing ingredients you need to start your day! Together, this vitamin blend helps to boost your energy level, increase your metabolism, and enhance your mood. I don’t know about you, but I want need my coffee to do all of those things!

Since I’m usually rushing around in the morning but always have time for my cup of coffee, VitaCup offers the perfect solution by combining coffee and vitamins. While it doesn’t offer the complete array of vitamins found in a multivitamin supplement, it does have those that are commonly at low or deficient levels in healthy adults. Anything I can do to make my life healthier and more efficient seems like a ridiculously good idea to me!

What vitamins are in VitaCup?

Each serving of VitaCup contains B1, B5, B6, B9, B12, D3, and Antixoidants. Here are some of the amazing benefits of the vitamins infused into each VitaCup coffee and tea pod:

B1: (Thiamine) Energy, Cardiovascular function, Brain function, Nervous system support, Mood and immunity booster

B5: (Panthotenic Acid) Energy, Cardiovascular health, Brain function, Mood booster

B6: Energy, Brain function, Mood booster, Physiological health, Nervous system regulation

B9: (Folic Acid) Promotes healthy hair, skin and nails, Helps the body to produce and maintain new cells/energy

B12: Energy, Mood booster, Brain function, Nerve and blood health

D3: Builds and strengthens bones, Regulates calcium levels, Prevents bone loss

Antioxidants: Helps with stress, injury and fungal infection

VitaCup single-serve capsules are also 100% BPA free and fully recyclable, woohoo!

How does it taste?

Unique and delicious! VitaCup has partnered with an expert “Roastmaster” and a team of pro coffee roasters to create their exclusive blends. There are currently five coffee varieties and one tea: French Roast, Gourmet Breakfast Blend, French Vanilla, Gourmet House Blend, Gourmet Decaf Blend, and Green Tea. So whether you prefer a light, medium, or dark roast, or prefer tea over coffee, VitaCup has got you covered.

I got to try the French Roast and French Vanilla blends. I am usually a flavored-creamer kind of gal, so when I added some Natural Bliss Pumpkin Spice creamer (’tis the season!) to my French Roast, it was perfection! The blend was bold, but not too bold, and maybe just knowing that it was packed with vitamins gave me a little extra energy boost, which I really liked! With the French Vanilla blend, I used Trader Joe’s Coconut Creamer and it tasted pretty good for a flavored coffee, but for the record, I prefer regular coffee + flavored cream =)

No Keurig machine? No problem!

You can simply peel back the VitaCup foil lid of the coffee pod, and use the grounds in your favorite drip brewer or french press. Each pod has the perfect amount of grounds inside, so no need to measure or worry about spilling coffee grounds all over your counter. Yay! Check out this video for more info on drip brewing.

VitaCup gives back!

I love that VitaCup has partnered with Vitamin Angels in the fight to end global malnutrition. Vitamin Angels is an organization that provides vitamins to mothers and children under five who are at high risk of malnutrition due to food availability issues. VitaCup donates a portion of their profits to help children all over the world get the vitamins they need- how cool is that!
