Holiday Snacks Your Kids Will Love!
Christmas is right around the corner! I am almost done with all of my holiday shopping, so decided to take a break and have some fun! Dylan and I made these super cute and yummy holiday treats last night and they turned out great! All 3 are easy to make and perfect to take to a holiday party or just enjoy at home with your family!
Easy-to-Make Holiday Treats:
All you need is:
1 Banana, Sliced
Strawberries, top cut off
Toothpicks or Kabob Sticks
Assemble each kabob by layering each ingredient in the following order: grape, banana slice, strawberry, mini marshmallow. Enjoy!
Snowmen Cheese Sticks
These are a great snack for the classroom and almost too cute to eat! All you need is individually packaged mozzarella cheese sticks, and a black & orange Sharpie permanent marker. Helpful hint: If the markers aren’t working on the plastic wrapper, let the cheese sticks sit for 15 minutes out of the fridge, so they are not as cold.
Reindeer Sugar Cookies
These are adorable & delicious, and Dylan had so much fun decorating them! I used Pillsbury refrigerated sugar cookie dough to save some time, but feel free to make your own favorite sugar cookies if you are feeling ambitious! You will also need vanilla frosting (or chocolate would be cute too!), mini pretzels, M&M’s, and small red candies for the noses (or just use the red M&M’s).
Bake sugar cookies as directed and allow to cool. Spread frosting over cooled cookies. Then place two mini pretzels at the top for the ears, 2 M&M’s for the eyes, and one red candy for the nose. Yumm!
Make these with your kiddos and let me know how it goes!
